Body Study Of Frank Morrison For @franks-dirty-blade !!! Do Not Repost!
@franks-dirty-blade asketh:
how does it feel, killing your own kind?
BLADE RUNNER 2049 //
“Now, I know you ain't the pot calling the kettle black are you?” Joey eyed him with a knowing look, albeit far away. He wasn't really looking at him per say, he was off somewhere else whilst swimming in the pungent wafts of burning cannabis—save for this particular smirk. A smirk curled on his lips for his partner.
Whether Frank meant it or not, whether he was reminiscing or growing defensive, Joey played along, grinning like hyena before a meal. For retrospective sake, and for the sake of humor—he proposed these people, his kind, they were far from human now, just like him.
Except he stood above in this caste system. It was better fate than theirs. They were cattle grazing in a regurgitate reality that roped around their necks to restrain them. Red rings and hallow eyes—It was on everyone's face and it was a testament to the toll it took on them. This place sucked them dry like live stock attached to the well oiled machine. These cunts were just pigs in a slaughterhouse.
Meanwhile, these two fuckers basking in languid inducing fumes? Yeah. They were the Big Bad Butchers. “Ey man, whatever helps you sleep, I guess.”
Running joke in the group chat of there being a Frank-only legion, since we have 3 different Franks of varying levels of sanity all in the same room at any given time.
So now presenting: Frank Morrison, as portrayed by @frankeatsdirt, @franks-dirty-blade, and @ask-vantablack.

COUNT . @franks-dirty-blade .
He hated this- the killers, the fog, the lingering feeling of not being safe, not even around campfire giving false promise of warmth, and now forced within cold of the darkness hiding dangers within unknown corners - standing before one of the very killers who had chased him down so mercilessly before- a favor asked to rid of nightmare plaguing dreams - something he had dealt with for years - and growing tired -
he’s not comfortable with the situation, though anything is better than dealing with the burned visage of the one who his father had ended- revenge for what he had done to him, and something entirely justified after, at least in quentin’s eyes, something he had made up his mind about after events of his life leading up to this,
hands move slowly, thinking about his next signs carefully ( 1 night? ) in exchange for freedom- in exchange for liberation from said life, and be able to sleep freely without worry of dying in sleep due to unnatural causes-- ( ... okay. 1 night. ) and yet - that seemed like so much, he doesn’t trust frank entirely - doesn’t trust intentions thar seemed to line the other’s words dripping with toxins, though no choice to be had if he wanted to Freddy to end.
guilt . something she didn’t deem herself worthy of feeling after all she had done since then . susie had long since lost count of the lives she had taken &. didn’t want to think about it , however frequently did so .
it always left her in the same state . torn , broken , sometimes to the point she couldn’t move to get help or even cry . this was going to be one of those times . she could feel it coming &. ran for help the moment she had , not taking a single moment to think about what she was doing when frank was spotted .
hand soiled &. stained with blood extended &. gripped into the back of his clothing , the voice of his teammate on the verge of breaking .
‘ help . ‘

Crunch... crunch... cru-crunch...
Uneven, limping footsteps pressed through the thick, fresh layer of snow coating the grounds of Ormond. Sharp clawed feet dug through, knees buckling as their owner struggled to stay upright. Splutters of glistening, iridescent blood spurted from the darkened figured struggling through the cold, staining the filthy dirt and snow in a steady path.
"G-Hhhk- ghh... haahh..."
The Shadow wheezed, shoulders shaking with every raspy breath as they forced themself onward. Groans of pain hissed from their lungs, blood draining from their barely concealed open wounds like a faucet as they staggered towards the lodge.
If it were any other moment they wouldn't be here. The lake was their home, and it was there they took solace when they were weak or injured. But today the lake was too far. And their injuries too severe.
They hadn't even the strength to conceal their true visage... something they'd never willingly exposed to their more human killer companions.
A heavy thud echoed into the lodge as they collapsed again, Vantablack clinging to the frame of the battered doorway. Their chest heaved, and they spluttered a hard, wet cough. Pale blood dribbled down their chin, plitting against the floorboards. They clenched their eyes shut as they forced themself upwards. Eyes slowly reopened, vision blurred as they struggled to focus on the already blood-sodden floor beneath them.
They didn't want to be seen. Didn't want to be noticed. They hadn't the emotional strength to visit in days, even weeks up to this point. This was the last way they wanted to be seen again. But they had no choice. No other option. No other home.
Vantablack gripped hard against the nearby wall, claws scraping with a barely audible screech. One heavy, dripping step after another they slunk away to one of the back rooms of the lodge. No more than two steps in, and their legs gave out beneath them.
A heavy clatter and a crash resounded as their body hit the floor.

Vantablack had not been there for long. They stood in the doorway of the Ormond Lodge, slowly looking Frank over before they let their presence be known. They had not known Frank for nearly as long as the rest of his Legion, of course, but they now knew him well enough to know when he was unwell... and to be careful when he was in such a fragile state of mind.
They stared into those blank, hollow eyes, hearing the waver pricking at Frank’s voice. It made them ache somewhere deep within their chest.
Their hand left the battered doorframe. Slowly, they moved across the room, taking a seat down beside the Legioneer on the round gathering room sofa.
“You know you don’t have to ask for just a minute from me, right?” They said, a twinge of tease hinting in their voice.
“Being allowed here in your pack means a lot to me as is. The least I can do is be here for you, too.”
They flashed him a small, reassuring smile, and brushed a few stray hairs away from their eyes. Closer now, Vantablack was able to look over Frank’s features more deeply. They noticed the signs of distress pricking at his features: his eyes, his hair, the ways his brows were knit together despite his otherwise dead expression.
“...Is this a no-words day?” They asked.
