not the most recent one about costisand the other guy . did not like the one about sophos all That much like it was Fine. my heart and soul rest in the first three, which i read while Growing Up with the characters ... i’m obsessed. i’m OBSESSED. that series is really what made meinterested in the way duty can be the same as characterization, if that makes sense? i’ve REALLY always hated fate but at the same time,sometimes ... like. “character as destiny” or whatever. those two were always going to play out against each other like they did at the beginning of “queen” but by the end it’s a shock again.i’mnot sure i totally Bought that romance at the end of book two but i found out “king” had come out a few years later and obviously...obviously... i’mweak. and love costis.
anyway i have always adored irene. if i was a woman i would want to be a woman like her. or like, that i could try to be. unfortunately.
anyway i love...her... i love the king.i love.... i don’t really have much to SAY about thosebooks, other thanlike. “the medes...really....” and that That Scene in queen of attolia still gives me screaming nightmares.
