This is a book that has been a favorite for the big screen and television for years and a classic book for readers when it was first published in 1956. In this 101 Dalmatians: A Counting Book children will not only be delighted to see the spotted dogs again but they can learn to count with them as well. Fran Manushkin quickly grabs children's attention with her story when the humans Roger and Anita are walking the 99 puppies and their parents Pongo and Perdita and a firetruck races by scattering puppies in all directions. Children can then join in the search and while doing so learn to count from 1 to 101 in this 30 page book (counting both sides of page) with its full color illustrations by Russell Hicks with puppies in the aisles of grocery store or riding merry go round. Numerals are printed in extra large bold type with each drawing. There is one page that was torn but has been taped so hardly notice it there is no other damage it even has its book cover protecting the cover, which is good for a book that was published in 1991 by Walt Disney Press. This is a great book for any child learning to count or even Disney collectors and very low price on it. It is 11.25 X 9.5 X .50 and weighs 1 lb 2 oz unpackaged.
