You Are Beautiful And Don't Let Anyone Else Tell You Otherwise

These are strong words that I firmly believe.

What do you truly think of when you hear the word "Beautiful"?  Do you apply to someone's appearance? Do you apply it to someone's personality? Or do you apply it to what's inside?

Often we tend to forget there are so many beautiful things in the world to appreciate – such as the gift of life. Life is meaningful, life is embraceable, life is amazing, life is challenging and most of all – life is beautiful. We are truly blessed with the gift of life and all of the beautiful things that surround our world and yet we recklessly focus on the materialistic things that keep us from appreciating life's beauty. We should all stop for 5 minutes in our busy lives to focus on this tremendous gift that we are taking advantage of and that's – the gift of life. Life is beautiful and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

Love is everlasting, love is circular, love is emotional, love is spiritual and most of all – love is beautiful. To find that person that understands your idiosyncrasies is beautiful. To the people who are fortunate and blessed to have a life partner or a long term relationship, turn to that person next to you and count your blessings cause having that love and support is beautiful. To all the people who are searching for that particular someone, realize that if you give and love with your whole heart, then you are beautiful personified. Love is beautiful and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

People are beautiful. And I don't mean appearance-wise, although it's what we immediately think of when we hear the word beautiful, but it should never define what your definition of beautiful should be. If you are selfless, caring, giving and comfortable in your skin, then you are beautiful. We all should look within ourselves and question our judgment when it comes down to how we interact with each other. The energy and attitude you put out in the universe is what's going to come back. God created every individual differently because we are essentially a beautiful creation in his eyes. In turn, you are beautiful and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

To all my good friends (and to the ones I am acquainted with) who are reading this right now, I say to you – YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL and thank you for allowing me to share what's in my heart with you.

I am definitely blessed

After a day of not blogging, I realized how lucky blessed I am to have such lovely and thoughtful followers. I wasn't in the mood for blogging for the past twenty-four hours and just left this post yesterday-- which I already set to private now. Yesterday was one of those days where my mood has all of a sudden just sunk down lower than anything. I tried to cheer myself up though. I watched few episodes of The OC, tried to read manga, listened to cheerful music -- but unfortunately none of them helped me. After posting that short text post, I went to bed and tried to escape reality through sleeping.

Earlier this morning, when I logged into tumblr, these fan mails and messages welcomed me! :) It automatically put a smile on my face! Ohh how blessed I am to have thoughtful followers. I just want to say thank you all so much for taking time to drop these sweet messages. This also goes to the people who messaged me asking what's wrong and if I'm okay. Thank you! My words don't do half of the justice but really, I truly appreciate it! <33 

I am now feeling a lot better than yesterday. Your messages helped me a lot! ^_____^ I'll probably be back to proper blogging by tomorrow? Hi followers! I just finished recording a short guitar piece and here it is. It's a classic song (correct me if I'm wrong) which my mother taught me when I was twelve. I don't know the title of the song though, but as far as I can remember it was featured as a Korean Drama Official Sound Track. The second verse has the same chords but played a little bit faster. My fingers on my left hand hurts a little bit now because I had lots of tries before accomplishing the final one, hehee. I hope you guys like it!

Frappe Diaries: The New Blog Look

I spent the whole afternoon re-designing my blog. I wanted it to look more of a scrapbook, applying my creativity into it. I'm still looking for a new background though, a bit darker one. Also, I'm in need to have new ideas for my posts. One of my ideas is that I'll be featuring a blog every week. I hope this sounds good! If you have something to say about it, you can leave them in my ask box. I'll appreciate it!

On a different note, I'd like to apologize to my bestfriend who's been calling me since yesterday. I think I missed 22 calls from you. Ah I'm so sorry! I've been neglecting my phone lately. >.< I'll text you when I get some credits! xx

If only things were like how they used to be.

Is it weird that I literally cried in front of my laptop while watching the last part of The OC's season two episode six - The Chrismukkah That Almost Wasn't ? The last part where Kirsten decided to accept and welcome her step-sister after sixteen years of not knowing that her father had an affair with another woman and hides it from her. Seeing all these happy people and family get togethers on Christmas Eve makes me happy, and sad at the same time.

As what I said on my "a little bit more" post, I came from a broken family. My parents separated when I was in second year high school. It was a hard time growing up trying to accept the fact that they couldn't be together again. I mean, I know mom don't want to see him - she even get angry whenever I say dad's name. I feel sorry for my younger brother that he experienced this kind of happening in our family. He was just six when our parents separated.

All of my life, I've been wishing for my family to get back again. Mom, dad, my younger brother and me under the same house, celebrating the holidays together. My only wish every Christmas Eve is to see my dad. It's been a year or two since I last saw him. I miss him everyday. I miss his voice, whenever he calls me asking where I am and what time will I gonna be at home. I miss him. I miss my family.

Earthquake and the horrible feeling it left me.

Hello lovely followers. Sorry I wasn't able to update yesterday. I wasn't feeling well. Anyway, yesterday was still a shock for me. I know many of you already heard about the earthquake that hit some parts of the Philippines yesterday, particularly between the islands of Negros Oriental and Cebu.

At 11:49 am yesterday, a magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck our city. I was standing in front of the mirror fixing my hair when I notice the television suddenly turned off and I felt the ground's shaking. I looked around and everything is moving. I was scared but stayed calm and my heart starts to beat really fast. The thought of earthquake didn't come into my mind until the neighbor shouted it's an earthquake! It was my first time to experience a disaster and I didn't know what to do. I can't move my feet - I was stuck. People usually hide under the tables but I didn't. The earthquake lasted for five to seven seconds.

When everything went back to normal, I turned on the television and waited for the breaking news. I was glad that no major damage and no deaths were reported in our city. But I feel sorry for the families of the forty-three people who were confirmed dead on the neighboring province. Eleven other quakes followed the 6.9 magnitude tremor that occurred at 11:49 am. Monday; the latest of which occurred at 8:29 pm. And a total of forty-two aftershocks. I know, it's a lot. >.<

On the other note, I want to thank all the people who messaged and tweeted me asking if I am okay. Thank God me and my family are perfectly fine. Nothing was destroyed and I didn't find cracks on our walls. Thank you so much for being so thoughtful, I appreciate it a lot. I hope everyone's safe! Keep safe, Philippines. xx
