Circa ‘94(?) Fraser Nash’s next big outing ‘Screamadelica’ he didn’t mind stepping on anyone’s toes in terms of what he named his clubs. As usual he insisted on hand drawn lettering and logo (of which this was the second incarnation). Told him that awesome as it was, there was no way I was going to handwrite the DJ lineup and other details. He begrudgingly agreed and let me type it and print it on a Mac. The kid with the grin was ‘Alfred E Neuman’ from ‘Mad’ magazine, and originally from a 1930’s advert. Cut him in two putting one on the back with the details and laid it out so two flyers could be put together to form one image. Fraser was very happy with the hand drawn logo which was a style of lettering I developed over a range of flyers for him drawn in Rotring pens. Single colour artwork on glossy white A6 card. #frasernash #screamadelica #clubnight #rave #house #music #clubculture #Djlineup #typography #flyers #flyerdesign #graphicdesign #phatmedia #redgallery #clubdesign #handdrawn #artwork https://www.instagram.com/p/B1T5agMAKHd/?igshid=5d2lxqg6r0dg
