it might be kind of a hot take (cold take? i haven’t seen anything about it at all) but i know in fan fictions, shows, movies, and just online media a mmc is a player and almost always has an on and off casual hook up girl.
i sometimes see a lot of hate regarding the hook up girl in the fan fictions (i also can’t blame it bc fan fiction is different than cinematic stuff like the slander in the wattpad comments) but like i would never hate nor blame the girl now.
i feel like some people overlook the emotions of the girl- like just because they aren’t a main character it doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t be upset.
like just imagine a girl in that position, like hooking up with a hot guy (bc usually every mmc or male pairing is) and he doesn’t want a relationship after they’ve tried time after time. then all of the sudden comes along some girl (usually the opposite of them) who makes him switch everything up like now he wants something serious.
i know i would do something in my power to try and show him that i was worth being a serious relationship in his life. and that’s why a lot of them make a scene like making out or stuff like that.
it’s a small thing that they would think would work like how did he gain interest in them? from hooking up so that’s the way right? it may not be the right way but emotions are high during the time and usually the girls aren’t in the right state of mind.
like none of these female characters are fully able to be blamed, i would blame the guys more.
unless the guy apologized and explained why he found that girl instead of them and they kept doing it and being a bitch to the fmc girl after that as well is when i would blame them.
i may not remember a lot of pop culture movies with stuff like this currently but a lot of them were written to show some sort of relation. but it just seems relatable bc i’m the girl my ex comes back to even if we aren’t tg anymore (but also the reason is bc my commitment issues)
to bring some self indulgence to this i wanted to write some angst with either jjk characters or mha characters
potentially for jjk either frat!ji or frat!jo but for mha i would do possibly denki or sero bc that’s js who i see would sleep around then find someone to chance them. or i could do katsuki ofc bc my babes 🫰
