7. They can’t remember a thing about who they are and just hit redial on their phone.
Clueless as to where he was or why he was there, it was no surprised that the boy was scared out of his mind. He couldn’t remember anything; his name, his home address, whether or not he had a family—nothing was coming to mind. He had woken up on the street without a wallet or other items and a dizzying pain in his head and the only thing he could find was a cellphone sitting not too far away from him. Was it his phone? It didn’t look familiar.
Nervously, he took the phone into his shaky hands and began searching through it, eventually finding the call history. “Maybelle Kaneko" was the name of the last person who called, but even that name didn’t ring a bell. Sighing softly, he hit the call button and waited for a response. Upon hearing a female voice—a very unfamiliar one, in fact—he shakily began to explain himself.
“A-Ah… This is… M-Maybelle… right?” He asked, his voice quivering more than he wished it would, “I’m sorry for the… sudden call, but I really need… h-help… Do you know who I am…? What does the Caller I.D. say…?”
She was still stuck in...Chibo? Chi--shomething. Whatever it was. May couldn't remember it correctly. This place was so strange. None of her calls went through to anyone in Hoenn, or any region really. Everytime she tried to, it said the number wasn't in service. She had no idea how to get back to Littleroot. She wished she could tell Anna where she was. She must be worrying by now. Maye even thinking she disappeared again.
Fortunately enough, Ishida had offered her a place to stay. She couldn't exactly afford a place her since she had Pokedollars and the currency here was yen and she wasn't able to convert her money. Guess it was good she found someone to rely on. However she had to remind herself not to get attached. She had to keep her guard up. She wasn't one to trust others blindly. Though she had felt indebted to him so she let him play with her Pokemon and answer any questions he had about them.
Today she stayed in her futon, sleeping and cuddling up to her Growlithe. That is, until she heard her ringtone. Letting out a groan, the brunette will roll over and feel around for her phone before answering it without even checking who it was. "Hello...?" She recognized the voice immediately, but the tone stirred her fully awake. May will sit up, biting her lip a little nervously. "I-Ishida...Kentarou Ishida. That's your name." He had amnesia? How strange. "I...I don't know much about you, honestly. Sorry. Y-You should come home, it may help you jog your memory. Um...where are you exactly? I c-could come and help you get home."
