Good question about the support in Echoes! in 1:20 after Mae levels up you can see like an Aura circle around her and Cecilia, I believe that's support. I've only played fea/fef but I've watched some path of radiance and want to point out in there support can happen from a distance but I'm not 100% it'll work like that in Echoes

haha, yeah, i noticed that when rewatching it!! also, in the gba games, while support points are only gained when units are next to each other, units don’t need to to be adjacent to get the stat benefits from them, so there’s definitely precedence for long range supports!

as with most lapis ships I don’t feel strongly about it, but this’ll probably change- I feel like lapis is either gonna like amethyst or find her draining tbh

i don’t really ship it per say as I don’t think it was a very healthy relationship, hence why it’s only a c, but I think it’s very interesting narrative wise

tbh i’m not invested in any lapis ship, but out of all of them, lapearl’s one of the ones I prefer? there’s been some parallels between them, and i can kinda see it working eventually
