7. How does your character perceive themselves? Positive? Negative? Neutral?

Hmmm...I would think somewhere between negative and neutral. It really depends. She’s not overly confident at all, and she knows her social skills suck, but overall she doesn’t see herself in a negative light. At times, more so in the beginning of their relationship, she’s thinking “why does this girl want me? I’m not cool enough for her”. But most of the time she is pretty neutral. And only times with Santana alone she does feel positive. Santana brings that out in her and has shown her that she is worth it.

21. Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why?

Brittany’s wishes would be:1) That they could afford a bigger house with more space for all of the pets, and maybe enough space for more. With a humongous back yard.2) That her family stood behind them and her marriage more than they do. 3) She wishes she could be more than she is and have more to offer Santana. Like her constant nerves, her preference to stay in rather than go out, and most of all, since it’s the next step, she wishes she wanted to have babies for Santana, because she knows Santana wants them.

22. Does your character trust people right off the bat or does it take them some time to warm up to someone?

Not at all. She was made fun of far too much in school growing up, and it is something she can’t get out of her head. She’s always worried people are going to mock her or laugh at her. The only person she trusts fully aside from Santana is Quinn. It took her a long time to trust Santana even. 

25. Do they have any weird bedroom habits? Any unusual kinks?

Not particularly. Before Santana she hadn’t even had sex and was too shy to really talk about it or anything. She just loves Santana and loves being with her. She eventually warms up to any idea Santana has, but when she has her own ideas -- which are usually pretty tame compared to other AUs -- she’s timid in asking. In time I feel she’ll figure out what she likes best and get more confident in asking for it. Seeing as how they met, became friends, became more than friends despite Britt not realizing she liked girls, dated, got engaged, then eloped within...a year? Year and a half? She’s still got plenty to learn.

I’m actually just gonna answer for Britt, because I’ve got more headcanon for her than Santana, and the Santana parts are making me think too hard. (I welcome @overratedmusings to chime in though.)

5. What are their chief tension areas?

She doesn’t have a lot of tension because she usually doesn’t let things weigh on her. When she does feel tension it tends to be in her shoulders, caused by all the physical labor she does.

9. Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time.

Her dreams aren’t usually things she can remember. They’re the kind that jump around a lot as though mini episodes. She doesn’t tend to remember them, and she doesn’t want to try. From the dark feeling she tends to wake up with she knows they aren’t fun dreams. A dream that she did remember and that really bothered her was one she had about Santana getting severely hurt and leaving Brittany for good. It helped her realize, even though she couldn’t accept, her feelings for Santana. After almost 2 years.

21. Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why?

1. To get off her probation/suspension from the league. She misses racing like someone has taken a child from her. She hasn’t learned her lesson, as she still drives despite not currently having a license and she’s still reckless, but she knows she has to at least be more careful so that she can get back into races.

2. To understand how she’s supposed to feel when it comes to Santana. She knows as far as fact goes that she should love Santana and want to be happy with her/make her happy, but she doesn’t understand the feelings she should be feeling inside or how to even distinguish them.

3. That she had kept Charlie (the dog) instead of giving him to Santana, because now she’s attached to him. She hates that she showed weakness by giving Santana such a present, and she knows that Santana can use him against Britt if she really wanted to. The cruel side of her will occasionally make sure Santana knows she sticks around for Charlie first. (Even though it’s not true.)

25. Do they have any weird bedroom habits? Any unusual kinks?

It really depends how she’s feeling. In the past this wasn’t the case, but Santana is different. Before, Brittany liked sex any way and any where. She was pretty much you’re typical, overused ladykiller type. Lots of sex, no feelings. She liked having the power and control, she liked things kinky or as simple as it got. She would never let anyone go down on her. It was her only no-go. It took her a very, very long time until she let Santana do it, and when she finally did Brittany cracked after the orgasm and broke down crying. Even after that she only let Santana do it on occasion, despite admitting how much she enjoyed it. 

Brittany tends to slip and the emotions she does have show themselves when she’s having sex with Santana. If she’s angry; she shows it by being fast and hard. If she’s happy; she’s usually sweet and playful. When she’s especially scared or sad, or other times of anger, she might try to hurt Santana lightly. She would obviously stop if told to, but she will toe the line. A lot of the time she doesn’t realize what she’s doing, and she doesn’t do it on purpose.

She will never, ever admit it, but her favorite is when she can relax and let it be slow and tender. It still terrifies her, but she loves both being treated with care and returning it to Santana. 

I could probably go on about the subject, but that basically sums it up.

09: What’s the worst piece of feedback you’ve ever gotten?

Hmmmm. Idk. Probably when I get told my story isn’t progressing enough…even like 3 chapters in. That always annoys me because clearly I have a plan.

18: How do you feel about love triangles?

Not a fan. I’ve been known to use them, but at the same time it’s usually clear which path is real love and which is convenience.

27: Which is your favorite genre to write?

Probably contemporary fiction?

36: Do you listen to music when you write?

Yes, usually. I have playlists for certain AUs/series. I’ll usually listen to get inspired.

49: If you could write a collaboration with another author, who would it be and what would you write about?Ohhh so easy: @gnomingabout. And I don't just say this just as a fan of her work. I say this because I love the way her mind works, and I love all the ideas she gets, and because one of my favorite things to do when we hang out or talk is getting wrapped up in discussing AU worlds and scenarios. If we actually wrote some of the things we've discussed we'd have so many choices! I think above everything else though, I'd choose the DC/Harley Quinn/Quitt AU to expand into a story, because it would be EPIC.50: If you could live in any fictional world, which would it be?Harry Potter.

WHO ARE YOU????1. What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. ) Describe why they do this — optional.She sleeps on her stomach with her head on it's side. Typically her face is facing the empty side of bed, even though there's not usually anyone there. Deep down, her soul wishes she had the love of her life beside her every night, so she faces the spot for her dreams.21. Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why?1. To know what she wants to do with her life now as a career. She stuck with dancing for so long cause it was fun and everyone expects her to stick with it, but she wants more. 2. To make Santana's fears disappear forever.3. Go back in time and fix things when they were young so they hadn't wasted so many years, and so that Santana wasnt sad for so long. 29. Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favour solitude and silence? Why?She likes solitude, but sometimes when things get too quiet and she thinks too much she gets sad. She often goes out with her friends just to keep herself busy, but then she needs to get away and go home to be alone.

OMG IDK WHO YOU ARE BUT OKAY13. Have they ever been so overwhelmed they had to stop and take a break from something? Not really...she doesn't get overwhelmed. Worked up and angry, yes. Overwhelmed...not so much.20. If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why?Just one? There are too many people she would want to murder, but Dani is probably near the top of her list. She doesn't care if the girl is history. She went after Britt's favorite toy, and Britt doesn't like to share her favorite toys. 23. Do they prefer romance or affection? What is the quickest way to your character’s heart?...neither? (Ssh maybe affection but don't tell Santana. Or anyone.) Britt doesn't really know...how to romance. She doesn't know how to react to it. It creeps her out and makes her super uncomfortable, mostly because with romance you can't avoid feelings, and she hates feelings. At least affection, the very rare moments it happens, she can pretend to ignore or brush off. She can act like it's no big deal. The quickest way to her heart is...a very long and rocky road, but mostly...keeping up with her. Physically, un-emotionally, etc. Someone has to hold their own. Basically, they gotta hit her like a 2x4 that she doesn't see coming.28. Are they afraid of death? Do they have any regrets?She's not afraid of death, but she is -- on a deep deep level -- afraid of disappearing. She has spent so long making sure she has no one to care about and vice versa, but by doing that she doesn't have to worry about disappearing to people. If there's no one to really remember her, there's no one to forget about her. Just like how she decided being a bitch was better than being a stupid airhead, she decides herself how she will or won't be in people's lives.

D'awww Dr Britt verse!! Of course!Britt:1. What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. ) Describe why they do this — optional.Britt sleeps all sprawled out on her back with her limbs flung in every direction and her mouth hung open. She doesn't do it intentionally, but she works so hard and wears herself out. By the time she gets to bed she tends to flop down and pass out.11. What do they think of creation? Do they believe in evolution or do they believe in God? What is their religion like?She's really not religious. She is very science minded, and as such she believes in evolution and fact. While she's always had big dreams, she feels comfort in knowing what is and what isn't and how things work. She likes specifics. She doesn't particularly believe in God, but she doesn't not believe. It's one of those....she'll believe it when she finds proof deals. She believes that everyone makes their own things happen in life, and that's how she got I where she is. It's also why she's hesitant to do things that she knows she shouldn't (i.e. Santana) because they will have direct consequences. Does she believe there is something bigger than herself out there? Yes. She just tends to think of it more as the universe itself than an entity.13. Have they ever been so overwhelmed they had to stop and take a break from something? Any time she's alone with Santana. Other than her emotions she doesn't tend to get overwhelmed. She's too focused on what needs to be done to worry or stress about how it's being done. Her emotions though; she's not as good at compartmentalising them as she thinks.Santana: 1. What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. ) Describe why they do this — optional.Santana sleeps either on her side facing the wall, or curled up in a ball. Even though she has a whole bed to herself now she's still not used to it. She sleeps on her side and doesn't go near her ex-wife's side. She's so used to trying to be unnoticed in her own bed that she still does it even though she's alone.11. What do they think of creation? Do they believe in evolution or do they believe in God? What is their religion like?Santana wants deeply to believe in God, or something. She's a little desperate for something to believe in and pray to, but she's unsure. She wished and prayed for years for a family with her wife, and it never happened. Trying caused her a lot of pain, and it cost her her marriage. A part of her wonders how any of that could be a greater plan. But she was raised in a religious family so it still feels like a part of herself. Her trust was broken basically, and she's waiting for it to be mended. She's hoping that she'll be given a reason to believe again, and get pregnant.13. Have they ever been so overwhelmed they had to stop and take a break from somethingShe gets overwhelmed SO easily. Every time they didn't get pregnant, or when her wife had a miscarriage, Santana was the one to say "okay maybe we should take a break and reevaluate". Even though it was something she really wanted. She gets herself overwhelmed with her own thoughts and anxieties, and her best cause of action is often turn and flee. She gets this way with life, work, emotions, everything. Then she calms down and thinks it over, very carefully, and picks herself back up.
