You’d ovulated before, but never with Fred Weasley as your devastatingly hot, capable boyfriend around to make it ten times worse.
Simply looking at the man made you feel irritated, hot and bothered.
It was ridiculous, really. He was not even aware how his mere existence made you want to have at least a dozen of his babies.
Him being manly surely didn’t help your case. He was currently fixing your bookshelf for you, something you had insisted on building yourself during one of your ‘I’m going to be a self-independent woman’ moments, when you were feeling especially self-adequate.
When you called him over to help you with it you didn’t expect him to show up with a billion tools.
“I didn’t say I don’t own that thing.”, you pointed accusingly towards the tool he was holding.
“You mean a drilling machine?”, Fred gave you an amused smile, teasing evident about you not even knowing the name.
“I know what it’s called.” You tried rolling your eyes as convincingly as you could.
Fred put down the toolbox as he came closer to leave a kiss on the top of your head. “I know babe. Just didn’t want you to lift a finger.”, He smiled cheekily at you.
“Let your man handle it for you”, he winked going back to work.
Your girl friends had always assumed you were with him for his charms and the obvious good looks, which was true but there was nothing sexier than Fred taking lead. That’s one of the reasons you fell in love with him.
You were more than capable enough to navigate through daily life crisis yourself. You had a stable job, your very own apartment, you were as independent as you could be.
As the eldest daughter, your whole life had been about leading others and taking care of everyone else’s headaches but there was something so comforting and attractive about a man being competent enough to not let you worry about anything.
It was like taking care of you came naturally to him. He couldn’t help it. All he had ever seen was you worrying about things even during your school days. He wanted to see you laid back and relaxed. Not have your pretty little head worry about a thing, when he could handle it all for you.
He loved how you visibly relaxed into his side as he’d navigate you through the crowded spaces after a relatively hectic work day. He lived for the smile on your face when he’d pick you from work , unannounced with your favourite drink in his hand. Or when you’d call him when you actually needed him to fix things for you (compared to how reluctant you were during the early days of your relationship).
There’s nothing more Fred loved than being a man for you.
“Yeah well, call me when you need help.” You joked earning a raised brow and an amused smile from your boyfriend clicking his tongue.
“Alright, let’s get to work”, Fred mutters to himself rolling up his sleeves revealing his strong forearms picking up the heavy shelves with ease.
Lord have mercy. Was he always this fit? You did remember him saying he had joined the gym last month, or maybe it was from all the heavy lifting he did on the daily at his shop.
Curse you Weasley, he had always had a lean build why were he trying to buff up and make you suffer even more.
You decided to sit back on the couch as you silently observed his every move in the living room. But just to be sure he didn’t catch on to you staring at him like a creep you decided to grab a random magazine from the coffee table to pretend to be reading.
The shelf in question had intricate wood panels and with a billion different screws that you definitely couldn’t have figured out on your own so it was quiet entertaining to see Fred at work.
He knew exactly what tools to use, no hesitation. His concentration at the task at hand gave you the opportunity to focus on how his skilled hands worked. The veins prominent running from his forearm to the back of his hands as he drilled the nail into the wood panel.
You watched closely, flipping a page from time to time as Fred built your shelf.
“Where do you want me to hang this?”, his sudden question took you out of your trance.
“Huh? Oh- yeah, umm right beside the TV is fine.” You answered clearing your throat.
Fred lifted the fully assembled shelf with an ease that made you internally squeal, gripping the edges like it weighed absolutely nothing.
He then aligned the wood against the wall, brows furrowed with concentration.
"Hold it steady for me." He said without looking back, his voice low and focused.
You scrambled to your feet and hurried over to him.
You placed your palms against the frame, barely any effort was put into it but he let you pretend you were helping. He leaned in to check the pencil markings he had made earlier, making you catch the faint scent of his cologne that had you bite down hard on your lower lip. You were afraid if you opened your mouth right now, you’d make a not-so-innocent noise.
He stepped back only to grab the drill, using one hand.
Fuck, he looked like knew what he was doing and it was turning you on to no extent.
Even the deafening roar of the machine couldn't shake the indecent thoughts you were having about your boyfriend.
With his jaw tightening with concentration, muscles flexing you could only imagine some other things that needed fixing.
He repeated the same process with the remaining screws, drilling them.
"Good girl." He praised you for barely holding the frame against the wall and you could only pray he didn’t hear the loud beating of your heart.
Once everything was in place, he gave the shelf a firm tug, to test its strength.
Satisfied, he stepped back dusting his hands.
"There you go, sturdy. Won’t be falling anytime soon" he turned to you smiling.
You blinked at him unable to give a proper reply. What was wrong with you?
"Let me go wash off my hands real quick" he said gesturing at the dust covering his hands. He left a quick and sweet peck on your nose, a stark contrast of what you were currently feeling, before turning to your kitchen.
You stood there trying to collect your thoughts before you heard his voice calling out for you
"babe, your faucet is leaking." he called out.
You walked over to the kitchen and saw him already examining the pipes.
"Be a dear and grab me the wrench?" He sweetly asked you. And if you were being honest, he could've asked you to marry him in this moment and you would've said yes without a second thought.
You were quick to grab the tool and pass it to him. The simple feel of his big warm hands against your own was enough to make you crave his touch.
He crouched under the sink to examine the pipes. His broad shoulders made the small place to look cramped and tiny.
He checked the pipes with his fingers, running along the metal to find where its loose.
You hear him let out an annoyed sigh at the water's steady drip... drip, like the leak personally offended him.
"Who installed these? A toddler?" he muttered to himself grabbing the wrench to tighten the pipes.
The metal groaned softly as he tightened it up but all you could focus on was how big his shoulder looked. The same shoulders you have had held onto countless times in bed. Clawing and scratching at his back.
Your cheeks heated up at the memories.
Fred gets up to test the faucet again, smirking proudly as the leak finally stops.
"There. All fixed." He stands up, cracking his neck and finally washing the dirt off his hands. He roughly dried them off with a kitchen towel, turning towards you with a proud smile.
You needed to distract yourself before he could catch on to you acting like you were in heat.
“Would you like some tea?”, you barely waited for his reply as you reached for the old and worn out stool that sat in the kitchen.
Hastily taking off your slippers to climb on top on it. You stretch up on your toes, fingers just brushing the edge of the tea box on the top shelf.
In your haste you completely forgot that the stool needs steady movement due to its uneven legs, it gives a tiny shake beneath you that makes you gasp and grab the cabinet door for balance.
Fred is immediately at your side, firmly holding your waist with one arm securely wrapped around it, steadying you instinctively.
“Careful love.” His voice is low as he gently guided you off the stool and placed you on your feet.
He picks the wobbling stool with two fingers, “No more using this old thing.” He pointed at the stool
“I’m building you a new one.” He said putting it away as if he’s worried you’d try climbing it again.
“You’re not climbing this. If you need anything, call me” he instructed you firmly, worry evident in his tone.
He then easily reached up, grabbed the tea box and handed it to you.
“See? Why use the stool when you have me?” he teased, patting the top of your head as if to mock your height.
You stood there between him and the counter. Fred had never looked more desirable than this moment.
That was it. You needed him and you were done holding back.
You leaned closer to him smiling, your body hot with desire.
"Aren’t you my helping handyman" you teased, poking the water stain on the front of his shirt from when he’d been fixing the sink.
"Yes ma'am. Fred Weasley at your service twenty-four seven", he smirked, his hands lazily coming to rest on your hips.
The simple action made you feel giddy. You couldn't help but try hiding the blooming smile on your face by biting your lower lip for the nth time today
"Your shirt is wet", your commented, pretending to pick a bit of lint from the collar of his shirt, hands coming to smooth out non-existent crease on the front of his shirt, palms flat against his chest.
"Oh is it? I barely noticed." Fred said, as he gently pulled you closer to him until your body was flush against his.
You looked up at him, he looked so big, so manly, oh so hot. Fixing your stuff in your house, always taking care of you. Being the perfect textbook domestic boyfriend for you. God you needed him so bad.
"I’ve been keeping a secret from you.”, you had decided to come clean.
“Tell me baby.”, Fred leans closer, his lips ghosting over yours.
“You look so hot when you handle things for me.” You breathed out, your arms snaking around his shoulders, your fingers slipped into the hair at his nape, gently raking through it.
Fred’s eyes fluttered shut for a moment, making him shudder at the contact.
He hummed at the feeling as you continue to tell him exactly how you feel.
“You’re so hot Fred. God, so manly. You’re my man, yeah?” you whispered against his lips. Fred groaned at your words, his fingers digging into your hips trying to pull you as close as possible.
“All yours babe.”, Fred murmured before pressing his lips against yours. One hand leaving the grip on your hip to gently cradle your face, his touch warm and grounding.
Your teeth tugged at his lower lip, tongue sweeping into his mouth— an impatient move that was rare from you, pulling a groan deep from within Fred’s chest, vibrating straight through you.
Fred backed you up into the counter, stealing air from your lungs. In one effortless motion his hands lifted you, settling you on top of the cold granite slab.
He pulled back, just a fraction to really look at you but the moment his warmth left your lips you chased him. your hands grabbing his collar, pulling him back into a bruising kiss.
Fred’s large hands cupped your knees, pushing them apart as he stood right between them, barely leaving space between your bodies. The act alone made you want to press your thighs firmly together, craving for friction but his firm grip kept you open for him.
His hands roamed all over your body, trying to memorize every inch. One hand slid up your waist, pushing your T-shirt up with it as it made contact with your bare skin.
A chill ran up your spine as his thumb made slow, lazy circles into your skin while his mouth worked against yours with a heated intensity.
The kiss grew sloppier, wetter and louder. The obscene sounds of your mouths and uneven breathing filled the small kitchen.
You felt lightheaded and drunk on him. Fred thrusted his clothed hips against your core making your breath hitch, telling you exactly how much heat he was feeling for you.
“What else have you been keeping a secret from me, hmm?”, Fred’s husky voice clawed at your sanity. His lips brushed the soft spot beneath your ear, each word sending a shiver down your spine.
Your hands tightened around the back of his neck as your legs instinctively wrap around his waist.
“You.. you always know what tools to use.”, you managed to breathe. You could feel him smirking against your skin. His mouth sucking, replacing his teeth with tongue to soothe the bite.
“T-taking care of me, fuck!”, you slurred as you felt him move against your core, producing the friction you so needed.
“Oh yeah? Does it turn you on, darling?”, he pulls back just enough to lock his eyes with yours. Seeing his lips all red and swollen from the kissing made your heart flutter.
He took his time teasing you and it made an involuntarily whine escape your lips.
You nodded stupidly at his question. “So so much!”.
Seeing you cling onto him like your life depends on it, so needy, made Fred’s cock ache in his jeans.
Fred let out a strained breath “Fuck babe, you’ll make me soil my pants if you keep this up.”, he groans against your mouth, going in to kiss you again.
“Bedroom.”, you were able to say in between hungry kisses and he wasted no time as he picked you up, with your leg wrapped around him, with an ease that made heat rush through you.
You reached your room with hearts racing, breaths tangled. He lowered you on your bed, the soft mattress dipping under both your weights.
Fully laid on your back, he climbed on top of you, elbows supporting his weight on each side on your arms.
He grinned down at you — wide, boyish, utterly pleased with himself.
His grin made heat rush to your cheeks, feeling embarrassed and shy about your earlier acts of neediness.
“Stop thattt.” You whined but failed to hide the blush creeping up your cheeks with his face just inches apart from yours.
“What?” he chuckled, “Can’t a guy be absolutely thrilled about his girl being needy for him?”, he dipped down to leave a teasing kiss at the tip of your nose.
If he was going to tease you about the whole situation, he could at least follow through.
“Shut up and fulfill her needs then.”, you shot back, arms slowly wrapping around his neck.
“With pleasure, my lady.” His smirk softens as he leaned in, his lips brushing yours.
And his lips met yours again, the rest of the world reduced to a gentle blur, leaving only his warmth in the quiet of the night.
A/N: Bitches really out here writing Fred head canons instead of doing their homework that's two days late because they’re ✨S A D✨.... Hi, I’m bitches. Hope you all liked it!
Request: Hey I really love your writing. Can you make a story where Fred Weasley and the reader are married and their journey through the war and everything and Fred lives. :) @famdomhideout
A/N: thank you so much for the request! I hope you enjoy.
Warnings: Angst! Mentions of war, mentions of violence, injury to reader, injury to Fred, pretty much sad the whole time but lots of fluff at the end and in between. I didn’t proof read so there may be grammar mistakes.
Italics are flashbacks
Your lungs burned as you ran through the hallway, the sound of the death eaters footsteps getting louder as they got closer. You quickly turned a corner, pressing yourself against the wall and holding your breath, your eyes screwed shut as you attempted to make yourself invisible, only releasing the air from your lungs when you heard the death eaters run past you.
You opened your eyes. You were in your old potions class. You looked around the now destroyed room. Shattered jars, that once held herbs and potions were scattered across the floor. The projector screen at the front of the room had been torn in half. Textbooks had been ripped apart, yet in the back of the class, standing right next to you was your desk, The first letter of your name having been scratched into the wood surface, accompanied by an F and encased in a heart.
Fred.
You ran out of the classroom, and headed straight for the great hall, desperate to find the red headed man. You entered the large room, your eyes scanning the soot and dirt covered faces bodies until they landed on a head of long fiery hair.
“Molly!” You yelled, the woman’s head wiping around at the sound of your voice to find you.
“Oh, Y/n thank goodness!” She said relived, engulfing you in a hug.
“Where is he?” You asked, looking around the room, hoping to meet the eyes of the man you loved.
“We thought he was with you” A familiar voice said, causing you to turn and meet eyes with George, his twin who would have usually been glued to his side being nowhere in sight.
Panic began to set in as realization washed over you.
He was still out there.
“Five more minutes!” Fred groaned as you opened the blinds of your shared bedroom, his arm quickly covering his eyes as the light washed over him.
“Come on Fred, the shop opens in an hour” You giggled, sitting on the bed to put on a pair of socks, only to yelp in surprise as you felt a pair of arms wrap around your middle and quickly pull you back into the bed, your back now pressed to Fred’s chest.
“George can handle opening. I wasn’t to spend a few more minutes with my perfect person” Fred said, kissing a light kiss on your shoulder.
“Oh really, this is perfect?” You asked, motioning to your untamed bed head and mismatched socks.
“Yes. You’re perfect” Fred replied, a soft smile crossing his face as you blushed at the compliment. “If fact, that bed head is kind of turning me on.”
You let out a laugh, shaking your head as you finally gave in and closed the space between you and Fred, pressing your lips to his with a smile.
“I need to go find him” You said, already beginning to back up towards the entrance of the great hall.
“No, you can’t go-” Molly started.
“I’ll find him! I promise, I’ll be back soon” You called, turning and falling into a sprint as you went out in search for your husband.
“We needed this” you sighed, leaning your head to rest on Fred’s shoulder as you watched the stars.
“That’s an understatement” Fred said, but you could sense the tension in his voice.
The past few months had been hard, both emotionally and financially. The start of the war meant most people spent their time indoors, which in turn had caused the shop to suffer greatly.
You remembered the day Fred and George left Hogwarts to start it. It was the best day of their lives, and though it hurt to have to say goodbye to your boyfriend, you were happy that he was pursuing his dreams. Now, the shop was in danger of being shut down, along with most of the other stores in Diagon Alley, and having to see the constant fear in his eyes broke your heart. So, you proposed a weekend get away to forget for a few days. And here you were, sitting under the stars, enjoying each others company in silence, until.
“Marry me”
“What?” You asked, sitting up to look Fred in the eyes, unsure if you had heard him right.
“Marry me” He repeated, turning so he was now fully facing you, holding both of your hands in his. When you didn’t answer, he continued.
“I’ve been thinking, with everything that’s going on right now, who knows what's going to happen. The only thing I know is that I want to spend every second I may have left with you. Now, I know I don’t have a ring, and-”
“Yes!” You shouted, throwing your arms around him and sending you both back to the ground.
You had been looking for him for almost an hour now, ducking into classrooms and hiding around corners to avoid as many death eaters as you could. You had just walked out into the courtyard when you saw him. He was on his broom, knocking down death eaters left and right. He was laughing.
You couldn’t help but smile. Of course Fred would be laughing at a time like this. However, your smile quickly fell as you saw a curse fly by his head, and hit the wall next to him, causing it to start to collapse.
“Fred!” You screamed, but he was too far away. You quickly shouted a spell, causing some of the falling bricks to fly in the opposite direction, but didn’t notice the debris now falling towards you. Not until a sharp pain ran through your head, and the world went dark.
“Y/N, baby wake up its ok” Fred’s voice called, shaking you lightly. You jolted awake, a cold sweat covering your body as you took in your surroundings.
It had been going on for weeks now, the nightmares. Whether it was replaying the night the Burrow burned down, or when George got hurt, or when death eaters attacked the school. The memory would always be exactly how it happened, except they always ended with you watching Fred die, before dying yourself.
Fred gently rubbed circles into your back, helping you catch your breath and calm down. Your began to fill with tears, and despite you quickly wiping them away, Fred still noticed.
“What’s wrong love?” Fred asked, making you take in a shaky breath.
“So much has already happened. We’ve already lost so much. And it still isn’t over. I just want it to be over” You sobbed, leaning into Fred's chest as he wrapped his arms around you.
“It will all be over soon, I promise. Tomorrow we go to Hogwarts, and then it will be over” Fred said comfortingly.
“How do you know?” You asked, your tear filled eyes looking up to meet his.
“I just know”
You awoke to the sound of yelling, causing you to quickly sit up. You winced as pain flooded your senses, reaching up to your head and pulling your hand away to see blood. You blinked quickly, trying to clear your vision so you could see the scene before you.
The entire wall from before had collapsed, and as you scanned the wreckage, there was no red head to be found.
You quickly stood, your head spinning a bit at the action but you ignored it, quickly running to the rubble and falling to your knees as you began to dig through the rocks.
“No no no, Fred!” You shouted, trying to find any sign of movement, looking to your left to see a flash of red hair.
Fred.
You ran over to him, falling to your knees so you could better look him over. He was unconscious, but breathing, however most of his right leg was now covered by the rubble, and your heart sunk to your stomach.
“Y/N!” You heard from a ways away. It was George.
“Were here! Help us!” You shouted back, looking back to Fred. He was covered in dust and dirt, his leg was mangled and he had a cut above his left eye. But he was alive.
A week had past. A week since the battle of Hogwarts, and the end of the war, but Fred still hadn’t woken up. Madam Pomphrey was able to heal Fred’s leg a bit, but he had a severe concussion, and would need to spend some time at the hospital to heal.
You and George had spent a lot of time together in his hospital room, neither one of you wanting to leave his side, but after a few days, you promised George you would call as soon as Fred woke up, so he could go home and spend some time with his fiancé Angelina.
You were currently sitting beside Fred’s hospital bed, making small doodles on the cast that was now covering his right leg. The doctors were able to help a lot with the healing process, but the bone still needed time to fully heal.
You had just finished a very crude drawing of a hippogriff, when-
“Doing a self portrait are we?” Fred asked, grabbing your attention.
You jumped up from your chair, throwing the pen in your hand somewhere across the room before closing the space between you, and engulfing him in a hug.
“You absolute idiot! Don’t ever scare me like that again!” you sobbed, pulling back so you could hold Fred’s face in your hands.
“Glad to see you too” He chuckled, his voice a bit gravely from lack of use, but you didn’t notice, or care. Fred was ok, and that’s all that mattered.
“I was so worried” You choked, tears still running down your face, which Fred gently wiped away.
“Well, I couldn’t die without giving you a proper wedding now could I?” He teased, making you let out a small laugh.
“What happened here?” He asked after a moment, reaching his hand up to gently brush across the large bruise and stitches on the side of your forehead.
“You were literally crushed by a building, and you’re worried about me?” You asked ridiculously.
"Of course” he said simply, before smiling and pulling your face towards him to connect your lips to his.
You smiled into the kiss, wrapping your moving to sit next to him on the bed to allow you easier access, and for him to deepen the kiss further.
“You know” He said, interrupting the kiss “Scars are super hot”
“Shut up” You smiled, shoving him a bit.
“No seriously, those stitches are a major turn on, maybe we could- ow!” Fred started, but you interrupted him by poking his bad leg, reminding him that any funny business he was planning would have to wait.
“You’re such a pain” You giggled
“That’s no way to speak to your husband!” Fred said with mock offence.
“Well technically, you’re not my husband yet” You argued.
“Fine, second thing were doing when I get this cast off is officially getting married!”
“What’s the first thing?” You asked, causing a smirk to cross his face.
A/N: I made it a bit more angsty than I thought I would but I think it works with the situation. Also, yeah they aren’t ‘officially’ married, but they are to themselves so that’s what matters most lol. I hope you liked it!
