He was trying to get LAID. Even the line was horny and obvious.

Freak Accident
So about a week and a half ago, I was coming out of my kitchen walking south to north, when something freaked out my 15 pound Siamese cat (that’s him watching ice dancing in my avatar), who came streaking from the front door (west to east) growling as he went, colliding with the lower half of my left leg. I fell on my butt, and when I got up, my knees were hurting, especially the left one. I iced the left knee, took it easy for a few days, and last Monday it seemed to be getting better, but Tuesday it started hurting again. So I went to an orthopedist, who to my aging eye looks about 19 but seems competent, and he poked around a bit and ordered an MRI.
Today I got the results - a tear in the lateral meniscus, and the recommendation, arthroscopic surgery, which he can do next Tuesday. I spent the next hour or so getting blood drawn and a chest X-ray and EKG. However, in the course of discussing possible side effects, it came out that I was overdue to see my GI doctor for some testing I’m supposed to get yearly for a chronic condition. Calls made to that doctor resulted in more appointments for Friday so they can clear me for the surgery. His nurse is my new hero, BTW; she could have just said, “sorry, we book up early, can’t help” but she went above and beyond.
I’m supposed to be able to be up and around the same day, with the help of a walker which I already happen to have, leftover from the last freak accident (breaking my leg in a spa in a cave in Hungary, good times) and should be healed up well ahead of our planned trip to Thailand in July (visiting another foreign exchange student). So it could have been much worse, like a broken hip.
