Tonight I discovered there used to be something at public schools (1910-1940's seems to be the window?) called FREAK DAY. Believe it was limited to New England but not sure. Anyways, now you know, too.

Today has to be national be weird day because everyone is just being freaky.
I kinda like it though, extremely entertaining.
It's a Freak Day
It's a day where I'd rather go naked
But the weather isn't permitting.
It's a day where all my jokes make me choke
but everyone else is staring like I came out of "Psycho"
It's a day where my jewelry speaks it's own language
with a single bend,
It's a day where dancing in public
becomes my thing
It's a day where reality hasn't hit me
but I'm sure tomorrow,
I'll be just as unaccepted.
