To answer your bonsai question: a bonsai isn’t a species of tree, but a way of growing/trimming a plant that makes it small and gives it a highly controlled, decorative shape! You can technically make a bonsai out of any tree (and some shrubs), but some take to it better, and are more common for that reason. If you look up “bonsai apple tree” you can see some really funny photos of bonsais with full size fruits, because they aren’t genetically different from normal trees!!
ohh yeah I clicked some of the links in the post to check out the Hobbit hole bonsai build, that looked very cool! Thank you for the explanation! It just kind of breaks my mind how they're able to make the plant grow such tiny leaves and have it all be small when you're used to a tree being Big, incredible..
