I'm making a patch on some aida cloth, but the edges of the cloth are already starting to unravel. Do you have any tips/resources for stopping aida from fraying for people who dont have sewing machines? Thanks!!

Which entity(s) would you have been an avatar of at the beginning of the decade? at the end?Oh god who was I at 19...probably the spiral cos I was a bit more of a.....Zany Edgelord. And also had a really nightmarish bout of insomnia in college.

And now I’m a loser Beholding nerd because I have a somewhat more insatiable need for Learning (largely for Learning’s Sake), fell into my career by being curious, and also I’m a bit more...esoteric now.

Did any episodes remind you particularly of any memories you made over the decade, whether scary or not?

Okay two summers ago when I was in full TMA swing I went camping up in middle-of-nowhere Maine and listened to TMA all the way there. And then the first night in the tent I heard the gentle patter of something like rain overhead. Turned on the flashlight and it was HUNDREDS of daddy longlegs. Just clustering cos it was September and the temperatures dropped a lot at night so they’d huddle under the fly for warmth and there were just....so many. And they’d do that every night. And I was just like OH GOD STATEMENT OF SJ REGARDING THIS and that’s how I coped.

You’re 3D stuff is amazing!!!! You’re really picking up on it fast, and it’s really cool to see your great sense of color and lines translated to 3D. Keep up the good work!! Also if you ever decide to try maya and want some tips hit me up :)

Thanks!! I doubt I’ll be anywhere near maya for cost reasons (I do love a free program!) but it’s cool to find so many 3D folk coming out the woodwork to say hi! Generalised tips always welcome!

I saw some concept artists and Illustrators use 3D and seamlessly blend their 2D over the top and I couldn’t help but notice that low poly angular style matches some of my angular illustration style really well so I thought I’d give it a shot!

I mean on a professional 3D scale I have zero clue what I’m doing, but i guess it’s fun to do stuff where you have no idea what’s going on!

Bonus! I wasn’t going to post this but you sent such a lovely message I thought I’d share some more “traditional” low poly work as I figure more things out.
