Another reason to screw societal rules

societal rules say you’re not allowed to look like you feel any emotion at all. Love someone? That’s okay but don’t be kissing or cuddling in public, don’t do too much of that. Frustrated? Alright then, but don’t look frustrated in your tone, words, attitude or body language. Same thing with angry or offended. Not allowed. Bottle up all your emotions and feelings, you have to look like you feel nothing except for disgust for the people who aren’t doing this.

Dad I sound frustrated because I am. I don’t want to try my very hardest to not reveal any emotion, my hardest won’t be good enough for you anyway. Yes I do try but you’re not me, people feel emotions differently believe it or not
