BUTVWHAT ARE PIETRO'S NIGHTMARESSS

Okay. Pietro has nightmares about a ton of the same things: the bombings, being shot, the labs. But Pietro also has a ten thousand “what if” nightmare scenarios that keep him awake. What if he runs to fast and disappears? What if her telekinesis spins out of control and rips her apart? What if they get separated forever? What if he gets hurt and she feels it? What if Wanda dies and leaves him alone?

Pietro keeps as quiet about his nightmares as Wanda does about hers. But she always knows. Every time he wakes up cold and shaking, she’s right there because she knows he’s imagining life without her. And she’s already lived without him and it felt like an eternity.

It was sudden and all at once. It always was with Pietro. One moment, Wanda had quietly been trying to fill out the last of her mission report. The next minute, the dossier was on the floor and her twin was sprawled all over her. Looking up at her innocently like he hadn’t just made a mess of her paperwork.

“Can I help you?” she asked with a small smirk.

Crystal hadn’t expected any of this to happen. Her mission to Earth had lead her to the injured man and she couldn’t just let him die. True, she may have broken a few laws in bringing him back to Attilan with her. After all, humans were not allowed to enter her home. But it was the only way she knew to save him. The Princess had hardly left the strangers side, hoping and praying that she had intervened in time and that he would eventually wake up. And that’s still where she sat. Beside his bedside, despite her sister’s protests. She wanted to be there for him for he finally woke.
