the  cafe  is  surprisingly  busy  today.  customers  come  in  and  out,  and  yet  the  establishment  never  stays  empty.  after  spending  minutes  in  line  and  then  waiting  a  few  more  minutes  to  get  his  order,  spencer  had  realized  that  each  and  every  table  was  occupied.  well,  there  was  one  table  with  a familiar  lone  patron,  so  he  decides  to  approach  them.  “  hey,  ”  he  greets  with  a  smile,  rapping  on  the  table  twice  to  catch  al's  attention.  “  think there's room here for one more here?  ”

she's  hiding  behind  the  bouquet  in  her  hand,  waiting  for  her  brother  to  open  the  door.  once  he  does,  she  pops  out  from  behind  it,  offering  him  a  big  smile.  “SURPRISE  !”  except,  it  probably  wasn't.  she'd  definitely  asked  him  ahead  of  time  if  he  was  home,  and  didn't  come  over  until  he  said  yes.  she  steps  into  his  home,  cradling  the  flowers  in  her  arms.  “i  got  these  for  you,”  millie  tells  him.  “the  lady  said  they  were  called  AMARYLLIS.  said  they  represent  resilience  and  determination  since  they  bloom  in  the  winter  time.”  she  turns  to  face  him,  holding  the  bouquet  out  to  him.  “felt  very  fitting  !”

vada  knew  she  should’ve  turned  around  the  moment  she  saw  the  long  ass  queue  and  yet  here  she  is  ,  stuck  in  line  with  everyone  else  ,  hanging  onto  her  last  bit  of  sanity  as  she  doom  -  scrolls  ,   desperately  trying  to  kill  time.  her  patience  is  already  running  thin  —  when  someone  shamelessly  breezes  past  her  and  skips  straight  to  the  counter  ,  she  doesn’t  hesitate  to  call  them  out.  "  hey  ,  missy  !  in  case  you  missed  it  ,  the  back  of  the  line  is  right  here.  "  vada  isn’t  even  at  the  back  anymore  ,  with  people  slowly  lining  up  behind  her  ,  but  she  points  anyway  ,  a  tight  smile  lingering  on  her  lips.  "  pretty  sure  we  all  want  our  coffee  as  bad  as  you  do  ,  so  how  about  you  get  in  line  like  the  rest  of  us  ?  "
