Some more screenies of a Lucas who might have freckles.

They're so hard to see I feel like I've gone mad and am hallucinating them. But what I do see is slightly too consistent to just be a glitch, right?

Also here's a link to my poll of whether Lucas has freckles, with about 18 hours remaining at the time of posting this post. He definitely has freckles in the second one, but this asks if he has them in the first. If so, a very different pattern.

Huh, maybe it is just visual noise. There are maybe two spots that appear most often in a similar place, but otherwise not so much

Eyestrain

idk I'm just putting this here because I think it's interesting. I put the images from the "does Lucas have freckles?" poll into GIMP and messed around with filters.

When I was first picking out images from game footage, I thought I saw compression artifacts or something, not freckles. But they seemed a little too consistent, especially a close cluster of about 3 dots on his left (the viewer's right) cheek.

So I cut his face out and used various edge detection functions that were available in GIMP, and then changed the layer modes to enhance the contrast. Maybe too much contrast. Anyway, I look forward to drawing a sort of freckle map.

It would be hilarious if they are indeed artifacts of a kind and I've just misinterpreted them.
