Hey just saw your outlander post addressing the fact that 'Je suis prest' is technically correct and I would just like to say thank you for clearing that up because I was a bit confused and I was pretty sure that the author of the series would not get this wrong, being as devoted to history as she is. I still have one question though: do the french still use 'Je suis prest' (the old french) or the new french nowadays?
I'm not quite sure what you're asking. The Frasers still use the "Je Suis Prest" motto today. French people use the normal spelling when they say they're ready "Je suis prêt". Hope this helps!
guys i really need you to do this rn
i realise some of you might be sleeping, but my grades are important
