#the disappearance#margaret sullivan#henry sullivan#luke sullivan#catherine sullivan#helen sullivan#anthony sullivan#andrea smith#fred cameron#laurence lebouef#peter coyote#aden young#joanne kelly#camille sullivan#michael riendeau#charlotte sullivan#neil napier#hee at the number of sullivans since two of the actresses have it too#ANYWAY...just caught up on this yesterday and now I wish I'd waited till today#I can't believe it used my resigned acceptance of constant het against me!#originally the show was only notable to me for its cast; bringing together two f/f faves and then daniel from rectify#and despite my love of f/f it was actually aden young's presence that sold me#like...have there ever been roles for you after which it seemed like the actor should just bow out because they'd never surpass it?#in my mind after rectify aden young just went away like daniel day lewis is always doing#but despite the cast there didn't seem to be anything special about the show itself#except maybe the flashbacks with the younger versions of the parents that was a bit unique#but THEN...I can't believe the twist they pulled....I mean#yeah a few minutes before it seemed clear where they were going but until then#for a show that focused on riddle solving they did great with a puzzle we didn't even know was there#and thank god I can be justified in my hatred of henry even aside from him obviously pushing margaret to give him up
