A GIRL'S GOT YOUR JOB TILL YOU RETURN.
Early 20th Century postcard by English illustrator Fred Spurgin with the caption “large dining room and enormous sitting room on the front,” referring to the wide sandy beach no doubt …
‘What’s the Game: Kiss or Kick?’ Postcards of the 1890s
”I WONDER WHO’S KISSING HER NOW” - a sad and frightened looking brokenhearted Edwardian boy sitting on a fence in the dark. The sender of the postcard has inked "Me" under the forlorn boy's feet. Signed by artist "Fred Spurgin". "Wed. Eve.- Just received your card my dear, so glad to hear from you and that you will soon be home. Better bring Edna along with you. Give her my love. Ever Your Pal, Lula", reads the note written on the back.
