So today is @lostinglorious 's birthday, and mine was on Monday (making us both Aries just like Quarantine Tarantula 😎♈). Not to get personal on my fandom-only blog but I've been going through Some Shit lately so as a way to not only cheer myself up but show gratitude towards my wonderful friend, I wrote her a fic about our mutual OTP, Shosanna/Fredrick. Shosanna finds refuge in a place where she does not have to be either Shosanna or Emmanuelle; where she doesn't have to be anyone, should she choose not. It's a welcome, albeit temporary, distraction—and more comforting than she should allow it to be, when she meets a young man who, like her, is there for the sake of escaping, even momentarily, from the hell this war has wrought upon them. Perhaps, in another time and another world, this wouldn't be the first—and last—dance that Juliette and Emil have together.
