I made this mainly for myself, but I wanted to post it so there's at least some context for when I eventually finish editing my "Day After Tomorrow" and "2012" mashup fic.
The story mainly takes place and has to do with the events of The Day After Tomorrow because I have a deep fascination (and a slight special interest in) antarctic research stations. Plus I'm not a big fan of how the theme of 2012 played out
