This photo represents everything I’m feeling and want to say today.... sometimes Ive placed responsibility in the wrong hands and that’s my fault. Especially when it came to loving me. “Responsibility to love me is not meant for family friends or well wishers to take up. It’s only myself and God who have the capability and power to express love and commit to a job with such finesse and success.” Many times I blamed my parents for their poor understanding of how to nurture and cultivate something in me they never had. Or friends for not calling (basic thought) or putting forth the effort to express something they weren’t aware that I needed and not being what I assigned them to be. Or my loves who I claimed took to much away from me and gave nothing back or left in my time of need. Or the many times life should have played fair but instead left me to work through unfortunate circumstances alone. I’m getting rid of old thought patterns this year and working even harder on my own journey of self love and demanding that God loves me with everything that is promised to me. It’s liberating when you accept the responsibility. No expectations for anyone to live up to no falsehoods to upset me . Just love from all the right sources.
