The other day on TikTok I saw a clip of an interview with Rock from Boot Camp Clik. He talked about what led to their beef Biggie and Junior Mafia, which was news to me—but looking back on BCC working with 2Pac and how that relationship started, it made sense. He explain how OGC had a line on their song Da Storm that Biggie ended up using on Junior Mafia's Get Money remix and they felt a way about it. As Jay-Z once told Nas "You made it a hot line, I made it a hot song."
Bed-Stuy niggas beefing with Brownsville niggas in the 90s pre-gentrification was a scary sight. Though some dudes on both sides got into few fights, it luckily never reached the level of lives being lost over a misunderstanding.

Holy shit.
The object of the atrocity obliterates any practical implementation of moral philosophy and so the entire world of morality decays, but does not die. The instantiation of evil leaves us unable to recognize good. Monochromaticity as a reaction against the horrible layers of the world; it's easier if everything is simple. But once we enact evil (because we know we are evil), even thinking that it is small in the face of the world, there is guilt. Remorse. Agenbite of inwit. The only question that matters: are we forgiven?
Every line Walken delivers is astounding. Taylor gives one of the single greatest performances I have ever seen. The early scenes, where she writhes in the pain, yes, but also the frustration and terror of knowing her body is doing something that she cannot stop it from doing: these are the most frightening and honest moments in a film made out of the walls of artifice meant to shield such vulnerabilities. But the vulnerability we see, is like nothing I've ever witnessed in this medium.
