VIEWS OF THE KINGDOM -> outskirts of Santo Domingo
I really liked those trees, obvs. For a whole year now I've been driving the snaking path that leads up to the Coronado Dam. It used to be a ritual to finish my game for the day up there. Saw these views as I was going up at sunset and had to snap 'em. Love an all natural shot - didn't have to change the game time or nothing. Unedited because they make me happy as is.
B2K dropping a new song for the first time in almost 25 years wasn't on my bingo card. And it sounds good too.
Lately I've been unintentionally listening to songs that makes the light bulb in my head turn on because I will hear something that sounds familiar and realize it's a sample that I've heard in another song. So to my surprise when I was checking out the Beastie Boys discography that I hear their Hello Brooklyn song and I had a joyous reaction because I didn't know Jay-Z and Lil Wayne sampled it for Hello Brooklyn 2.0. But at the same time, I should've known it was a remake with the 2.0 in the title, but I never cared to figure out why. Plus Ad-Rock is literally yelling Hello Brooklyn throughout the song.
I have no comments to add to this week's rotation.
