So much discourse about the pending Thunder vs. Pacers NBA Finals matchup for the past few days. A bunch of mixed reactions.

You have one side who love the small market appeal and two teams playing an elite style of basketball on both ends of the floor. The league parity that everyone was crying for has finally trickled down to markets you didn't expect.

You have the other side that believe it's going to be a very boring matchup between two teams that are strongly disliked outside of their fanbases and won't grab the casual fan's attention. No entertaining storylines to sell you on or superstar that people want to crown as the next face of the league. And because of that, it might end up being one of, if not, the lowest rated NBA Finals series in history.

Either way, I ain't gonna watch the shit. Not because of the latter point, but because I will be a bitter Knicks fan that will never get over being so close to the finish line. And the Timberwolves/Anthony Edwards fans is feeling the same way.

It's going to be funny as hell in a few weeks when the NBA post the ratings and it ends up being one of the most watched NBA Finals in recent history. 😂
