Haruka and Ikuya's relationship in this season is what happens when one of your friends confess to you and you don't feel the same.
That uncomfortable moment when you realize that one of your friends likes you (Ikuya) and that possibility never crossed your mind until they tell you. Then, overwhelmed, you just stop talking to your friend and avoid the person/problem for years. (Haru)
Years later, you meet with that person, realize what you did was wrong, and want to be in good terms. Be friends again.
But guess what? Now the other person ignores you and his current boyfriend (hiyori) won't let you talk to him because he sees you as a threat to their relationship. Something you think is absurd (because you even have a boyfriend /Makoto) but guess what again? Maybe that dude is right.
