Anne 1x06, the one where Gilbert's dad dies and the girls talk way too much about marriage for being 13 years old.
Favorite scene, bar none, was Anne suddenly realizing that death is sad in real life, sobbing into a bowl of mashed potatoes (and getting told to get her shit together by a three year old eating corn out of a jar), and then awkwardly telling the grieving, uninterested Gilbert that she wouldn't make a good wife and fleeing the house. Girl, your friends just dropped off dinner and he hasn't said a single word to you. You are definitely jumping the gun. (Also, telling him his dad's funeral was very picturesque and he was comparatively lucky? Oh, Anne.)
Poor Matthew. I am concerned about the next episode. And not enough Jerry. Not only does he keep that farm together, Matthew is finding more farms for him to take care of?! Kids were more mature then, but this is ridiculous. He's already falling asleep in haylofts.
I approve of Aunt Josephine. She is basically exactly like I pictured her.
