Alex Honnold Free Solos Yosemite's El Capitan In Under 4 Hours

Yosemite National Park – On Saturday, June 3, 2017 professional rock climber Alex Honnold, 31, free soloed the iconic granite wall known as El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. Honnold completed the 2,900′ climb without ropes or safety equipment in just 3 hours, 56 minutes.

Honnold started to climb Freerider (5.13a) at 5:32am and reached the top of El Capitan at 9:28am.
