Free Organic Apples that we got to pick. Otherwise they would just be tilled into the earth. So many pies, sauce, and juice is to be had. . . #freefood #freeapples #organicapples #applepicking #smithville #hendriks @adriannepyatt (at Smithville, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/CGgnOlGjE3l_mLK7b0p8jlh-nJQvzfmPOvbFI40/?igshid=1vyg89o3yg3o5
Bobbing for apples on easy mode. Probably enough worms for a Halloween party but it’s worth it for #freeapples ! Gotta love the Pacific Northwest. #apples #ciderinthemaking #freefood https://www.instagram.com/p/B2AeFQdA8TE/?igshid=1hixyl216xd2k
It’s Saturday and I had to wake up earlier than I do during the week...
Today I participated in my first Color Run (5km)! What an experience! Needless to say I got colors everywhere. I tasted colors. I smelled colors. Heard colors. Even though I covered my mouth and wore sunglasses, at one point at the afterparty, everyone in the audience threw powder up in the air at the same time. I couldn’t see anything around me. Everything was green. I couldn’t even see my friends next to me, crazy! My eyes and lungs did not appreciate that moment but it was so much fun! I would definitely do this again.
After the run, you could get a free apple. They were delicious! Before we left, we wanted to go get a second apple but, why go for only 1 extra? Long story short, I left with an entire box of delicious apples. I was happy for the next three weeks or so!
In the afternoon, my host family had some friends over to celebrate R’s birthday. I joined them most of the time, it was relaxing, pleasant. We had a lot of good food, good wine, delicious chocolate cake. Made me miss home a little bit.
