Freed From Context turns 1 Year Old!

It has been an entire year that I've been running the Freed From Context blog. For those of you who follow with any regularity, I thank you. Hopefully the words, quotes, poems, and other material posted here brighten up your day, make you think, feel something, inspire you, amuse you, or any such thing. I feel I get a lot of mileage from just doing this as well. 

To mark the occasion I'll be reposting my original post from Mary Ruefle.

NEW from Endless Sound...

If you saw the previous post on this blog you'll notice it was a non-music related quote. I posted it there on accident but have decided to take this opportunity to let you know that I also maintain a separate blog by the name of Freed From Context. It's focused primarily on literary quotations and other things of that nature.
