Yes, it's Independence Day, a day to celebrate America winning its freedom, but I think it can also be used to celebrate freedom in general.  Freedom to be yourself.  You have a right to your opinions  as do everybody else.  That doesn't mean you have to agree with them, just accept that they are people just the same as you are and they can think whatever the heck they want just as you can.

Happy Independence Day, guys.

Okay...I'm starting to think some people are taking the "amurrika"/freedom posts a liiiiittle bit too seriously.

Guys, unless I'm misinterpreting, the purpose of those posts isn't to place the USA on a pedestal and proclaim to the world that we are the most superior nation and everyone should bow down to us...they're supposed to mock the people that actually do believe it...? Haha, we (or at least I) don't ACTUALLY believe that America is the greatest nation on the planet. It's just funny watching the people that do. 

Don't get me wrong! I'm proud to be an American when the moments warrant me to be as such, and I'm definitely not taking for granted the privileges I have of living here. But I know we're far from the most perfect group of people or the most perfect country in the world.
