‘Freedom Summit’ on online entrepreneurship set on March 30-31
Freedom is what mastery in the digital space is about – and it is accelerating from being a trend to becoming a lifestyle.
It’s been called a variety of names: digital nomadism, online entrepreneurship, digital marketing, etc. But basically it brings freedom to one’s lifestyle – it literally means doing the work that you enjoy, promoting yourself and your skills as your own brand, determining…

In the ‘Live Free or Die’ state, neither Rand Paul or Ted Cruz live by that Motto
Today, Rand Paul and Ted Cruz talk to the Republican Liberty Caucus in Nashua. While both of these GOP candidates like to tout themselves as new and different, we know that’s just not true. In the “Live Free or Die” state, neither Paul or Cruz live by that motto.
“When it comes to women’s rights over their own health care and marriage equality, Paul and Cruz are not on the side of liberty. Granite Staters deserve a leader that will expand opportunity for all Americans, not just a select few.” – Lizzy Price, New Hampshire Democratic Party Communications Director
Women’s Health
Rand Paul says he’s a fan of individual liberties, but he seems to hold many exceptions, especially if you’re a woman. And Ted Cruz is right there with him.
Both Paul and Cruz signed onto legislation that actually allows an employer to fire a woman for having premarital sex.
Cruz promised to “lead the fight” to shut down the government in order to defund Planned Parenthood, which provides much-needed health services to thousands of women in the Granite State. Rand Paul? He’d favor shutting down the government rather than provide funding for women’s health services to Planned Parenthood too.
Oh and a woman’s choice over her own body? In case you didn’t pick up on a theme, both Cruz and Paul say no on this one.
LGBT Rights
LGBT rights? Yeah Paul and Cruz aren’t big on those either.
Cruz and Paul are both in agreement that businesses should have the right to discriminate against gay Americans if it goes against their religion.
Cruz even sponsored legislation that would give organizations a license to discriminate against same-sex couples.
And Paul has elaborated on his backwards views on marriage, saying that same-sex marriage “offends myself and a lot of people.” I don’t think the memo that marriage is now legal for everyone. But Cruz did and he encouraged states to ignore the Supreme Court ruling. We’re not kidding.

Immigration fight looms over Republicans' South Carolina gathering

Immigration fight looms over Republicans' South Carolina gathering
At the South Carolina Freedom Summit in Greenville, Republicans such as Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker again sounded the alarm about legal immigration and called for a policy “that's based on, first and foremost, protecting American workers and American wages.” However, that argument was rebuked by senior GOP senators who have aligned more closely with the business community in supporting legal immigration. That group included South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, who is likely to announce his own presidential bid in June—and has already said he'll pick a fight with the immigration restrictionists who have opposed him.
Ronald Reagan referred to legal immigrants as Americans by choice. I think it entirely possible to welcome and celebrate legal immigrants and also to defend the rule of law.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz
Clinton's expansive offer to Hispanic voters earlier in the week further complicated the Republican predicament between base voters who harbor immigration anxieties and wealthy donors who view a pro-immigration stance as necessary to win the general election next November. None of the top three Republican candidates—former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, and Walker—mentioned the issue of immigration in their major speeches Saturday. Bush spoke at the evangelical Liberty University in Virginia; Rubio and Walker spoke at the South Carolina event.
Crying because I'm not at the Freedom Summit in Greenville today.
Is Scott Walker the Republican's Hillary Clinton?
Is Scott Walker the Republican’s Hillary Clinton?
While Hillary Clinton seems to be breezing to the Democrat nomination for President the Republicans seem to have every major figure lining up for a shot at the Republican nomination.
Potential candidates from Jeb Bush to Carly Fiorina have set up exploratory committees and are starting to solicit donations. Republicans are criss-crossing the country speaking on every subject near and dear to the…
