Clarke Completion: 12-31-18 Meaning: A warrior scholar who saved the consciousness of many Africans John Henrik Clarke, was an black historian, professor, and a pioneer in the creation of Pan-African and Africana studies, and professional institutions in academia starting in the late 1960s. Born in Union Springs Alabama on 1-1-1915, he has provided much needed information that rediscovered Africans role in world history, or rather Africa’s role IS world history. Of all Black historians, he is my favorite & his holiday is my favorite. I’m celebrating his holiday by uploading a picture of him with one of his most famous quotes from one of his greatest “debates”. He says, “I only debate my Equals. All others I teach.” Implying that the individuals he was debating during the 1-3 hour session were not as educated, or were indoctrinated with Eurocentric lies. I love Dr. Clarke, & he will always have a respected place in my heart. Comprised of many straight arm strikes, as well as conjoining finger strikes this art is very customizable and is only limited to the imagination of the creator. This leads us to this work of 3D art. Research from archeologists have proven that the black Woman has the most likely possibility of being the ancestor of all of human civilization. Not only that but further research has discovered different types of animals dna 🧬 imbedded within her genetic code. This is astounding & is truly an incredible discovery. This information motivated me to draw the gold(Black) Woman, sitting atop the 🌳 of life. Dangling from the branches are the different people of the world. Difficult as it may be, notice how some branches are missing slots to be filled with some type of individual or land mass. The land masses next to the wrapped individual represents the land mass indigenous to their people. Due to colonization, things aren’t accurate, but close enough to illustrate an idea.
