Peggy laughs, smoothing her hands along his now gloriously bare chest as she grins up at him. “Well, then let’s also add another blanket statement that I will never be more fond of you wearing a shirt than I am of you without them,” she chuckles, tilting up onto her toes to press a soft kiss to his jaw. “How would you feel about breakaway shirts?” teases Peggy.
Drinking The Midnight Oil

Roland had been at the bar for a little over an hour. He had been nursing a few drink while he sat on the bar stool, staring up at the hockey game. Once in a while he wasn’t in a mood to go home, and his version of isolate socializing was just this, letting his more introverted side go out with itself. Home could be boring sometimes, and he could get good finger food here.
The bar wasn’t actively busy, but there were a few other guys or small groups around. He didn’t really pay them any mind, they were more of the silent type and he understood that. When he heard the door open and saw the new blonde start to approach the bar, he didn’t mean to look. It wasn’t like he was looking for any company. Roland tried to take him in as much as he could through quick side glances and the corner of his eye. He didn’t want it to be obvious, but the guy could turn heads. And what an ass.
He forces himself to look away and move his gaze back up to the television. He didn’t want to creep the man out. And, he wasn’t looking, he told himself. And he might be presumptuous to hope he may be gay. But...maybe a little hint never hurt. And Roland knew how to talk himself down from an offended straight guy. Whispering to the bartender, he told her to get the blonde’s drink on his tab.

James really thought he was getting used to this century, after all things weren’t that different. Things were simpler in a way, people could be who they wanted and love who they wanted and everyone had a little radio to communicate. Trips were faster, cars were faster and greater--unfortunately people’s stupidity was also. And now Nat and he were on the run, Fury was dead, someone had tried to kill him twice and shit, if it wasn’t his mind playing games on him he’d think it was somehow Steve on that rooftop two nights ago. He had thought that much; he refrained from telling Natasha because he didn’t want to see her expression when she called him a nutjob.
But it had been Steve because Steve was the one that had been pointing a gun at him, Steve had taken a shot at Nat and she was bleeding from her arm, that had fought him as not many could and banged his metal arm against the pavement missing his head by an inch. Steve was somehow part of fucking HYDRA.
Steve, his Steve would’ve never done that. Steve was kind, and good hearted and he wouldn’t hurt a fly. He wouldn’t be this quiet ghost assassin that---No.
“Steve...?” he asked with voice trembling and almost dropping his shield when the other pointed a gun at him.

“You’re such a good boy aren’t you? Yes you are, yes you are,” Marta whispered to the adorable little dog who seemed terribly excited to be pampered. She had a thing for dogs, big or small she always found them adorable and usually the rougher ones, the ones that people called evil would just come to her and be adorable.
She didn’t normally stopped in the park but this dog was just too cute and it took her a moment to realize he had the service dog harness. “Oh. Oh,” she stopped patting his head right away. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t realize he was a service dog, he’s so friendly. I’m very very sorry,” she apologized again to the owner whom she had completely ignored until five seconds ago. It took her another minute to place the guy--for a moment she froze thinking it was somehow Ransom that had found a way out of jail but then she met the guys’ eyes and stopped being an idiot. She needed to stop being afraid of Ransom and seeing him everywhere--though this guy did look like him but also like... what was the guy’s name? “You--You were Miss Carter’s friend. I’m-I’m Marta. I was Miss Carter’s nurse.”

“I have something I need to tell you, Steve,” Bucky says with utmost sincerity. He comes as near Steve as he’s comfortable—about four feet away—and stares deeply into his eyes. This is serious shit, he tries to convey with a single look. Then, with severe gravity, he breaks the news: “Steve...you smell like horse shit. How long has it been since you did laundry?”

//I know the feeling too - I’ve literally never gotten anon hate, which I’m both thankful for and confused by because I *know* I have some unpopular opinions
It's because you are precious and perfect, just like your muse <3

“Steve. Pssst. Over here.” The 21st Century was a culture shock to both of them. At least, he assumed it was. It was to Howard. One of the first things he had done, however, was track down what had become of Steve, if he was ever found, and what information he received from his research, blew his mind beyond belief. It had taking him a while, but he eventually got into a position to reveal his presence to the Captain. The man who was very much alive, against all odds.
“Yeah, it’s me. Didn’t expect to see my handsome face, eh?" He turned off the boat, hopped off it and approached the man, unable to stop that smile on his face.
