The contrast of Rex not liking the barista in this episode, versus the way he has no issue with getting pats from Sarah. Definitely a headcanon (and basically canon) that Rex chose Sarah before Charlie did.

When Sarah says "You'll get scooped up soon enough."

My internal dialogue is always "Yeah, by you, Sarah!"

Also, this is season 1. Again, anyone who said their romance came out of nowhere, clearly did not pay attention.
