I FINALLY beat Shining Pearl yesterday after buying it back in March? I bought it after Legends: Arceus purely for the Darkrai event in PLA and maaaaaaybe to shiny hunt Arceus.

And can I say how much I fucking HATE Sinnoh. I did NOT enjoy the original Pearl when I first played it, and Platinum was marginally better. And instead of doing an updated remake using Platinum as a semi base, they copied off the broke ass originals that barely had ANY of the new evos available before the postgame. And the remakes were soooooooooooooooo poorly made. I hated slowing down to a crawl if I so much as glanced at a wall. Sure, I didn’t have the game when it was a truly glitchy janky pos, but there was plenty of jank still baked in. But I’m sure anyone who care has heard all of the complaints back when the games first came out.

Aside from a FEW shiny hunts I can’t do anywhere else, I doubt I’ll ever touch this game again. The one highlight of my playthrough was beating Cynthia’s Garchomp with my fat Purrugly Abbysinia that I transfered over from the past in Legends.XD
