Skream -100k Freeizm (Free Download)
In order to celebrate reaching 100,000 followers on Twitter, Dubstep originator Skream has released a free download featuring 11 unreleased tracks that he recorded between 2006 and 2011. And this fine collection, featuring the full gamut of dubstep sounds, can be downloaded here.
By all accounts this is not first time he has done this and there are at least 5 other 'Freeizm' compliations out there. Check out the links to them below:

One of the best things given away this Christmas period has to have been Skream's Freeizm History, his final free giveaway following years of Christmas handouts. Dating between 2004-2006 this release is a perfect illustration of what dubstep was: deep, dark, melodic, meditative and atmospheric. Many of the tunes built the backbone of the original Stella Sessions, a show synonymous with the roots of dubstep along with the likes of SubFM, Streamizm and RinseFM.
The releases, which were thought to be lost in untitled mixtapes from years gone by, came with its own warning from Skream 'This will not impress people who found dubstep in the last 3 years'. On a personal level this acted as a potent reminder of just how much dubstep has changed over the past few years, and, takes me back to the days when the aesthetic of dubstep was dark and comfortably unsettling, not loud and alienating.
