Sometimes you gotta point the mind-control ray at yourself...
Positiveness. Keeping ones chin up. Gritting your teeth and getting on with it even when everyone and everything around you is being an utter BASTARD.
DO NOT think murderous thoughts... Water off a duck’s back, develop a thick skin, man up son it's only banter...
Positivityyy... Ahhhh....
The work wasn't going right. I didn't feel well, had a bad nights sleep. And to top it off, those two were on their shit, AGAIN.
Eeeesh. Why fucking bother, huh?
"Getting upset won't get you what you want, and it will very often get you what you DON'T want" -Marshall Sylver.
My Brainbox: "You attract the things you think about. If you think bad things, that's what you attract"
Me: "But, how can I be sweetness and light, when EVERYTHING is pissing me off?!"
Brainbox: "It's your mind sunshine, YOU control your state. If something annoys you that's because you LET it."
Brainbox: *Eyebrows* "Two words amigo; Jordan Belfort. That state control thing he does, why'd you think that is?"
Me: "Fine. Point made....Humph"
These are the kind of internal conversations I have with myself.
So I decided that from right there, I was gonna be in a beautiful state, to think and attract all the good things.
When you're upset or angry, you lose about 30% of your mental ability (Tony Robbins). Things go from bad to worse because you can't think clearly and you just spiral out of control. You know, little mistakes add up, you get annoyed, you can’t focus and it gets worse...
By lifting your mood, you regain that percentage. Like Indiana Jones in a lost mine, opening a creaky chest of glowing golden brainpower. Cool.
You think more clearly, and things start to go right again.
Use this bad-ass witchery to your advantage. Always.
But how do I improve my mood?
Weeeeell, different strokes for different folks, y'know.
For me, I tell myself that "I'm sick of this shit. I'm in control. I WILL NOT lose out anymore because I already lost out."
Honestly, that does if for me.
Wave a wand, click your fingers. *Done*
