..Love fearlessly without worry of being hurt or rejected. Why? What is projected as not caring, anger, or being dismissive may be a symptom of hurt, doubt, worry, a cry for help or a need to confirm if that love is real.
Freely receive love, kindness, help, motivation, inspiration (when they're genuine & selfless), the chance to find a solution, & the opportunity to be healed. Why? Because when presented with the gift of community, love, connection, or healing we leave them on the table or at the door & walk away due to being used to gifts coming with conditions.
Does that have an impact? Yes! How? Because it could cause more damage. Damage to ourselves in thinking that the giver was only concerned about themselves when it's untrue. Potential damage to the giver in seeing their risk to Love rejected. Damage to our hearts & minds. And,of course, damage leaves room for reinjury. It hinders progress & freedom.
But God! God still loves you. God still loves us in our brokenness. God still loves us in our seasons of Damage & Doubt. God still loves us when we feel rejected & hurt. God still loves us when we worry & when we're restless. God still loves us when we're afraid to commit & we push others away. God still loves us when we run away.
Yet, it is in the midst of all these things caused by human error, mental & emotional scars that: God. Meets. Us! He meets us in the midst of our pushing, pulling, running, shunning, doubting, fearing, worrying, crying, praying, & praising even before we know the outcome!
So, take the time today to look around and see that God loves you without condition, fear, worry, or selfish intent. Take the time to reflect on what that means. Take the time today to look at your life & habits, past & patterns, and risk surrending all to God. Take the time today to be Healed, Stand up, Walk tall, Pursue your Purpose, & Show Love!
Be the one who Gives & Shows Love to someone else just as God, & those he placed in your life to improve it, showed it to you. Be the Love & Change you pray to see. And, Freely receive it! Be rebuilt by the overflow of God's love that comes from someone else. It may just be the answer to a prayer you, or they, didn't see yet..
