Orgasm Death Gimmick was founded in May 1991 at Richard's initiative, after he began searching for people to form a new band:
“When I was looking for people for a new band, I met Sasha [Moser] playing the drums now, and Francis [Schobert, also known as Franzi Underdrive] from Inchtabokatables. We played a little, but Francis didn't like it too much. She decided to retire, and Martin [Rauer] appeared on the stage (now he is a bass guitarist). We tried to play together, and we did a good thing. Detmar [Schmidt] (pipeman and vocalist) simply float around for a year, read some books and reflected on life in general. Then he sang, and then Martin offered him the place of vocalist. A group was formed.” (x)
Just two years later, in 1993, the band disbanded, having released two promo and two demo albums during that time. Richard described the band's somewhat ambiguous style as follows:
“We did extremely English-Saxon music, quite pop, but I couldn’t fully determine the direction of the music we wrote.”
Indeed, while the musical style leans toward hard rock, it also features experimental elements, such as the use of a trumpet in 'Boom Box' or pipes in 'Say nothing'. Additionally, traces of the later Rammstein sound can be found, particularly in the song 'Cyber', whose guitar riff was later reused in 'Sehnsucht', as well as in 'Be Up to Know', elements of which can be found in 'Engel'.
Orgasm Death Gimmick is my favorite band from the pre-Rammstein catalog - the sound is powerful and raw, and already showcased Richard's love and interest for experimentation with music 🎶
jihyuk and his dad are exactly alike. stubborn, prideful men who want to take on all responsibility. but jihyuk's seen how his dad lives so he's developed this ... coping mechanism, i guess, of enacting strict demarcations/lines/distance between him and other people, strict definitions of relationships and what they entail/allow. he's also the exact opposite of eunoh in that he like...doesn't express soft feelings readily/easily/at all. he cares about people he's close to (friends and family) but his caring is very older brother/senior-like, very "i'll take care of this" and "do what i tell you." what i do like about how this plays off of eunoh is she does whatever she wants anyway, no matter what jihyuk tells her.
i love butlers so much why are they so respectufl what the fuck look at this pictuer ei saw on google images
