FREEMAN FRIDAYS: Sims 4 Experiences Challenge, Chapter 14
With Nancy so outraged at her for almost giving away their entire affair, Noelle thought it best to give Nancy some distance – but it didn’t mean she was happy about it.
In fact, it put her in such a bad mood that, as usual, she took it out on those around her – especially when she already saw those people as enemies.
Like DJ Kylie.
‘Wow. That girl is several plums short of a llamacake.’
‘Who, Noelle? You know, she didn’t seem that bad when she gave me a bluebell on Love Day… but now I hear she steals chairs from bars. I mean, who does that? I’m beginning to think I dodged a bullet.’
Maybe Candy was right on that front – but she was wrong on another. Noelle wasn’t just stealing chairs. She’d graduated to other, more intricate things.
Like random carvings of horses.
And anyway. Luckily, Noelle didn’t have to rely on Nancy for friendship. Her rounds on the bar circuit meant she’d met other people, too – like Marcus Flex, amused by the pranks she’d played on him. Marcus dropped Noelle a text early that morning, inviting her over to his house – and as the water had been cut off due to Noelle not paying her bills (perhaps another desperate attempt to get Nancy’s attention; the bills needed to be paid to the Landgrab Power Company, after all), she figured at the least, she could use his shower, if not fulfil the mischievous tasks required by her work.
So she headed straight out to Marcus’s unusual abode…
… and found, to her surprise, that Marcus wasn’t even there.
Jokes on her, this time.
But the house wasn’t empty. Noelle was let in by another old flame: Jade Rosa.
Jade didn’t seem wildly interested in paying Noelle too much attention – maybe Candy had told her the chair-stealing rumours – but Noelle had mischief to do, and so she targeted Jade and Marcus’s roommate, Eva.
Eva found it funny when Noelle claimed to be a criminal mastermind…
… but not so much when Noelle asked her due date.
Jade promptly left at that point, too. Smart Sim.
Noelle tried to tell her to learn to take a joke…
But ultimately decided it was better to just leave.
Marcus’s little practical joke had not been as funny as Noelle’s were, and Noelle headed to the gym he frequented, to tell him as much – but an easier target waited outside.
And after all, she still had 50% of mischievous interactions to perform.
