smoking a cigarette at 3 in the morning reminds me an awfully lot of when i used to awake at the earliest hours of morning and i'd shake you awake just because of how much i missed you when i was asleep and you never minded. instead you'd take me outside to your front porch and share a marlboro your dad gave us while you'd hold me in your arms and speak the world to me . you brought the life back into this world for me, but how do i live in this world now without you orbiting around it?
