He had been lost for a few days now. Ace was known to stray far from home, but so far he had always found a way to get back home. That was not the case this time. One sleepy subway ride and suddenly he could find no familiar landmarks. It smelled enough like Gotham but all the buildings were different. Concerning as it was the shepherd knew how to survive in a city. Knocking over trash cans and digging though their contents for food and holding his own against any strays he may come upon.
But he smelled something much much better than the half eaten sandwich he had found. Head peaked from the alley, first a black snout with flaring nose and then his head swinging around the corner. Eyes locked on the two leg approaching. Whatever that human had in the bag was enough to have the shepherd drooling. And then giving a low half bark. Ears forward as head jerked and even more pointed bark was let off.
