Since it’s been all over the news, I’m gonna keep this short and simple. Earlier today, our Symbol of VIctory, Ground Zero, was arrested without a warrant to do as such. So, in turn, Deku, the Symbol of Peace, has left the west in order to prove his innocence.
I’m sure many of you know the situation down in the west with the flooding and the destruction, but believe me when I say, we have it under control. Deku has been a big help to all of us, but we can afford to let him go back to the east in this point of time.
I know that our friends at UA are doing a protest in response to Zero’s arrest, and we here at Shiketsu High stand by them and what they’re doing up there. But, due to the severity of the situation down here, we will not be holding a protest outright.
That doesn’t mean that we won’t be showing our support. As I put this up, both Yumi ( @love-on-everyone ) and I are handing out black and orange ribbons to all that want them as a show that we do not accept the actions that were used against Zero today.
Please, remember that this is a peaceful protest-- I know that many of you are angry, believe me so am I, but the more calm we keep, the sooner we can have Zero released from the Police’s custody. If Yumi can keep her anger in check, so can all of you.
Stay safe all of you, whether you’re here west helping with the relief efforts or in the east protesting for the release of an innocent man.
