Frozen
In another unfortunate game of “can a vampire get that”, Em has seemingly been overcome with symptoms of hypothermia after she’d found the one patch of ice that could not hold her weight. Everything after the initial sound of the crack was a blur in her mind.
To her luck, Vikas was more than experienced with these sorts of ailments. She’d already been stripped of her wet clothing and given dry garments to wear, placed in front of the largest fire the cabins fireplace can sustain, and fed with a heated glass of bloodwine. So now it was a waiting game to see how long it would take for her body to regain its heat.
She stirs as she feels Vikas sliding in beside her in the small bed, on that had been dragged from a bedroom to allow Em some comfort while she warmed up. The new source of heat is welcomed and she turns so she’s facing him, curling up close.
"I feel as though this is your country’s way of rejecting my presence," She muses, voice muffled as she buries her face into the crook of his neck.
