What's this? An update? I know, I'm just as shocked as you guys. It's been a crazy year, and I really can't thank you all enough for your continued support even when all the signs of a dead story were here. Your tumblr messages, fic comments, and fanart have been an inspiration even beyond the scope of Freight, and I have a hefty section of wall in my room dedicated entirely to things you've sent me over the past two years.

Freight has come to mean a lot more to me than just a Homestuck fanfic, and I’m really looking forward to getting back in the swing of things. Please don’t hesitate to message me, post in the freightstuck tag, or post in the egbertiian tag. I always love hearing your feedback!

I don't really have to much to say on this chapter, other than the fact that I'm not super happy with it for some reason? But the response I've gotten for this story has been absolutely overwhelming! Gosh! Thank you so much to everyone who has read and enjoyed it so far--you guys are absolutely fantastic, and I hope the story continues to live up to your expectations in the future! Thank you so much for sticking with me, even when I'm not at my best.

Ahh, part one is finished! I'm super happy, because now we can get into the real heavy-duty plot stuff! (Drama! Action! Romance!) This had all originally been a five-part prologue, just to put things in perspective. Next chapter I'll introduce some the most important characters in this whole story (finally! Striders!) so just sit tight for a few mote days!
