it's always really cool to do a redraw to see how you've improved as an artist. these are THIRTEEN years apart! (god here's even the original post lol. sergius also got a redesign since, geez.)

context: freiha leaving azuremyst for the first time to traverse the wider world of azeroth. a scary prospect for someone entirely on their own for the first time in her life.

also i realize that the new version is a bit darker compared to the old one, and i know that has to be because the gamma on the ancient monitor i had when i drew it back then was so bad. everything looked very dark

i apologize if the new one is hard to see for some 😭 it's fine for me

We Will Not Fall Again

Guild illustration I did to celebrate the beginning of The Sha’tor’s BfA plot!

A lot of time, energy and love went into this piece, and I can’t even express how much I enjoyed working on it. More than 30 hours of work, almost 140 layers, and now it’s here. This might be the biggest and most detailed illustration I’ve ever done. It feels almost unreal to see it finished, haha.
