“I’ll be your father figure— I drink that brown liquor”
I was reading some Sappho poems yesterday and also came across this blog From Lavender to Violet— a lesbians obsession with purple— on dressingdykes.com
“Words from my favorite poet to one of my favorite appreciators of poetry— the unique thing about us, English teachers is that we can appreciate “Do Not Go Gentle” … and in spite of what other professions believe— we know we are not pompous. We just understand what the poets are saying.”
I work at a used books and record store called Black Dog Books & Records. This stack is inspired by… you know who. And i had to share it with all of the brilliant creative thinkers in my gaylor/performance-artlor community.
